The real estate market in Maryland has shifted ... we are now in a serious buyer's market that began in mid-2006. Those who believe they know about these things are telling us that the current market conditions should last until early 2009. What this means is that there are more homes available now than there were during the past few years, and they are taking longer to sell. That poses a challenge if you are a home seller, but if you are thinking of buying a home, the timing couldn't be better.

Many people believe that they will save money by doing a FSBO (For Sale By Owner) or using a "discount" real estate company. I'll be happy to explain to you why that is NOT ALWAYS the case.
